Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund - Wave 3

DESNZ has released draft guidance for applications to Wave 3 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.

While applications are not yet open, DESNZ is encouraging potential applicants to start preparing as soon as possible. The guidance is provided in draft form to give you the opportunity to feedback on it before the finalised guidance is provided.

There will be two new routes to access funding under SHDF Wave 3: the Challenge Fund and Strategic Partnerships. The Challenge Fund is expected to suit the vast majority of grant recipients. A small number with a proven track record of successful delivery at scale can access funding through a Strategic Partnership. Further detail on both routes is available in the scheme guidance. 

Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to start preparing and building partnerships now.
