Awaab’s Law – preparing for new repairs requirements

Earlier this year, the previous government consulted on its proposals to introduce time limits for responding to reports of potential hazards in residents’ homes, through the introduction of Awaab’s Law. Angela Rayner committed the new government to finalise the legislation for Awaab’s Law in autumn 2024.

During this webinar we heard about the latest NHF engagement with the government on Awaab’s Law, and from housing associations who have been working to prepare to meet these new requirements.
